I just recieved an email from Saw’s management company (they run the sites officialsaw.com and collectsaw.com) regarding some new SAW 6 news, and it appears that Shawnee Smith will be in it. Obviously we don’t know to what extent she will be seen, but it’s pretty obvious it will be in flashbacks (since she’s dead) and I’m guessing that the whole movie will not revolve around her as a character, but maybe I’m wrong. Check out the quote below from Producer Mark Burg.
“SHAWNEE SMITH (AMANDA) IS IN SAW VI. THERE ARE SEVERAL NEW CHARACTERS. ALSO, THIS MOVIE IS A LOT MORE VIOLENT THAN THE PREVIOUS V. LASTLY, WE HAVE TRAPS THAT PIT VICTIMS AGAINST EACH OTHER LIKE THE OPENING OF SAW V. COULD BE THE BEST SCRIPT YET!”
So what do you think? Do you want to see more of Amanda in SAW VI? Do you think it’ll just be flashbacks or are they going to magically raise her from the dead?

They wouldn’t raise someone up from the dead. Amanda will be in flashbacks I’m almost sure. That’s how they do. Do I want to see more of her? Only if it constitutes the meaning of the whole story and the true secrets behind ‘the game’.
